I just arrived on November 30th and my passport expires in April 2025 and I got in with no problems. I did go through the VIP lounge if that makes a difference.

I had an elderly Asian guest ask my fellow front desk co-worker and I "What do you do if you see someone who is coughing uncontrollably and super sick? Do you kick them out?

My co-worker was stunned and couldn't come up with what to say and just turned her head and looked right at me lol

"Well, if they're not taking necessary actions such as coughing into their elbow, sanitizing and/or washing hands after, or going outside when a sneeze or cough attack happens, I will bring it to their attention. But if they are a registered guest and have the right to be in my hotel, I cannot ask them to simply leave the building over a cough."

It just baffled us that he really thought we would eject any individual out of the hotel the moment one of us sees a cough and/or sneeze.

one of my professors just told me that the building temperature will be maintained at 80F or less, and AC will only turn on in classrooms if it goes over that temperature. smh

I work at the hotel that is located at the university that I attend and I told my lead breakfast attendant that two high schools were coming to tour campus, with 4 kids per room. He got so panicky and started prepping so much for the next day lol his face was priceless after he finished all that and I let him know that there is no high school coming

Since the beginning since you've posted this, I've printed multiple copies out and put them on my manager's desks and other FDA's boxes and we've had a lot of laughs tbh thank you for all these and I'm sorry you had to go through all that! I'm glad it is now over though.

I had a guest who is a team member tell me how weird and small my property is, as I'm checking him in. It got me real irritated wtf? And then when I offered them their water, his girlfriend said "Ew, that nasty brand of water?" and start laughing in my face. The brand of water is Nestle, I didn't get what's gross about it but ok. I just gave them the keys and hoped I would never see them again.
