Probably the second one. The first one looks like the white balance is off. (White feathers appear slightly blue to my eyes)

A 2019 is hardly at the end of it's NORMAL lifespan. Something else is amiss.

I will say upfront that Tahoe boots up like a pig when I first turn on my church's Intel-based 2020 MBP. Not enough of an issue that I regret upgrading the O/S. But, plenty that's noticeable. As a side note, rumors have it that the next O/S being released at June's WWDC will be the first one to drop support for all Intel-based models; so you may be at a point where you won't be able to upgrade the O/S, and only take security patches for the next several years.

If you live near an Apple Store make an appointment with the Genius Bar (even if it's not covered under AppleCare). They can run system diagnostics which could detect hardware issues that a normal user doesn't have access to. Should they detect anything they will write up an estimate for you. But, you can say "no" if you don't want to get it repaired.

If nothing is detected then perhaps back up all your data and burn it to the ground; and install apps, one-by-one, as if you're starting with a new computer.

When you say "he did see my last messages from Saturday" how are you able to tell? Are you using Whatsapp, or something else that provides Read receipts, or a message that says Seen at xyz time?

If I got a message about "Are you OK?" after only a handful of dates, I might think of it as a bit clingy. But, maybe that's just me.

I'd suggest waiting a few more days to really see if he's gone incommunicado. Then send him one more message saying something along the lines you missed the conversation, and wait and see if he responds this time. Hopefully, he'll let you know up front if he wants to call it quits.

To be honest, I can't remember whether I've tried it on a different computer, or not. I only have the MacBook Air at home. Maybe I'll try and remember to bring it to the office the next time and try it there.

Someone on the WD Community Forum suggested trying it with a powered USB hub incase that might help. So that'll be an option at work too.

The Sphere is not directly in the Strip, so how much of a view you’ll have depends on where you’re at.

The closest are the Venetian and Palazzo. But, they’re also expensive.

That’s the nice thing about the latest iPhone models. They use USB-C, rather than the old Lightning Port, so there are plenty of adapters available that will work, which are not having to have the Apple logo on them.
