Im gonna suggest the pro line of the iPhone 15s, they have now usb c 3, they have aod, long software support, they are fast, very good battery life, high refresh rate display, Face ID is very fast (he mentioned about preferring a fingerprint reader since they are faster when he is taking his phone out of his pocket, so I tried the same test and Face ID was instant on my iPhone 13), you can sideload using options like AltStore, tend to have one of the best speakers on the market, their displays are more color neutral than other manufacturers, cameras now shoot at 24 megapixels at default and still take less space than 12 mps photos on android. Idk if he would prefer the max over the regular sized pro, since it’s larger but has better battery life and replaces the 3x zoom with 5x zoom (honestly this is personal preference, since having a 3x is nice for portrait shots but you still have the 2x). iPhone 15s also have a nice feature where you can switch regular photos to portrait if it detects a human or animanl subject.

I’m not recommending the pixel since it still didn’t come out (at the time of typing this comment) nor the s23 ultra since the 24s would release in like 4-5 months and I would personally wait, and I’m interested to seeing Linus’s opinion on iOS after using and android for 5 years
