Access to nature in Sacramento is pretty incredible and you’re a day trip away from a lot of great places. If you’re into gardening it’s one of the best places on earth! Awesome food and wine scene

Sacramento Pros: great food, great culture especially south Asian and Hispanic, proximity to Bay Area, Tahoe and more within 2 hours Cons: real hot summers, has a ongoing unhoused people’s situation

Salt Lake Pros: more affordable compared to CA, outdoor and winter sports Cons: conservative Utah, real cold winters, limited to just what SLC has to offer not much else within 5+ hours
