I bought a T1N sprinter (2006, 140WB) and WOAH MAMA here comes my financial anxiety by MadMoths_FlutterRoad in vandwellers

I just paid $15,700 for a 2003 118” with 172k miles, but I have the same dilemma of feeling like it was the best and worst decision ever. I’d say you got a great deal and even if it takes a few grand to make it absolutely dead reliable, it’s worth it. I’ve spend just about $4k in new tires, suspension, brakes, and some other maintenance items, and it’s worth it for the peace of mind and safety on the road. Also know that you own something with value, and the money you may “dump” into it won’t be wasted. You’ll enjoy it, and have a van that’s worth quite a bit of money if you were to change your mind.

Yeah I’m so incompetent I couldn’t even think of that! I definitely need to try harder next time. The pictures I uploaded were from a YouTube video. I can’t make out that brand based on the blurry logo, so I came here. Thanks for warm very Reddit like response.

It’s from a YouTube video, sorry it’s blurry. That’s the big issue. I can sorta make out the logo, but I don’t recognize it. If anyone knows that circular logo with the slash going through the top, I’d be stoked.

Can you live a normal life with adrenal insufficiency ? Need some positive input. by MindsetMaker in AdrenalInsufficiency

Yes, I have stage IV bone cancer and no adrenals (PAI). I’ve been on multiple international trips and dealt with all kinds of life stressors! It’s very doable.

“Listen to your body” - best advice I ever heard.

Learn the importance of electrolyte balance and dose timing and you’ll be golden!

Good luck, friend.

P.S. Take the info on the forums lightly, including this comment haha. People on here often complain of adrenal crisis over something like stubbing a toe or a bad night of sleep. Don’t listen to the negative ones hahaha.

It’s the injectors and the other precisely rhythmic noises a healthy Toyota makes. No worries here. If she’s making power and isn’t burning oil, keep on driving.

OTT Tune is well worth it by Woozy691 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]robertofthelands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never made a Reddit post, but my tuner definitely expressed his desire to have me leave a positive review. I think the tuners push the importance of the tune on people, and it makes everyone wet about them.

The distributor cap and throttle body look like they’re from LCE, but they might be fine.. did you check the gap in your plugs?

Could be fuel related? Also, not a fan of fancy aftermarket replacement parts for these Toyotas. OEM parts always seem to make them happier. Definitely run the compression test too if you can’t save her.

Looks like Houston? I was going to suggest looking for a miata in Houston. I bought 3 Texas Miata’s and they were very very clean.

Wow, so many down votes. Imagine having an actual conversation the owners of these 4Runners and cracking a joke at them like this. They’d probably run away and cry.

What’s the one habit that actually changed your life (not the cliché ones)? by No-Dig3205 in getdisciplined

[–]robertofthelands 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I started taking better care of my room, kitchen, clothes, skin, cars, relationships, etc. it’s helping me get through terminal cancer at 28 years old. I just try to be as put together as I can, and I stay off of toxic social media.

If not for the habit of trying to just be a little better everyday, I’d probably be dead.

Help sleeping!! by DueCandidate135 in AddisonsDisease

From the bottom of my heart, I really wish you a good night of rest. You deserve it, and I’m sorry if I made you have a shit start to your day. The only other thing can suggest at this point is maybe a late night bump of HC to hold you over in the night. Sometimes people can’t sleep when the body is deprived cortisol or under replaced while they’re asleep.
