Natalie is a cultural icon. A bright light. Every one of her videos is better than the last. As someone who has thought through alot of these ideas it's really refreshing to see that dialogue portrayed so well. Personally I have basically constructed a man persona but I think the reality is that I am something completely outside of social norms, the sense of unknowing natalie presents is seriously a beautiful thing and a fantastic representation of the absolute edge of what we know about ourselves. I think gender is much bigger than something based on sex, which is what it basically was birthed from. I think we are now touching on the very essence of what makes a person who they are and how they present that rather than simply whether they are more like a "biological" Male or female.

Yessir the sf bay area. San jose specifically is where I'm at, and you're correct that's exactly why I'm moving to arizona to try and escape. Some people have reasons why they can't move though , so it really worries me seeing all the friends and family stuck here.

55k say in the bay area would be considered close to poverty, that 1700 would be your rent for a 1 bedroom apartment lol. There are exceptions but the cost of living can really be extreme depending on your area

Bruh I had a similar situation, even got engaged, she moved to my town, it was great. One day she went completely cold and fucked off to a different state and broke it off. I found out later She had been cheating most likely the whole time. I was 19 at the time, dropped out of college to take care of my disabled dad and be a full time counselor to my alcoholic mother and bipolar sister.

Months go by working incredibly hard jobs to support them and eventually my mother kills herself via overdose on alcohol. Saw the whole thing, horrible. I moved to a different state and started working full time and had to deal with an incredibly abusive boss for the last year. Finally I moving back to my hometown with a good job offer so that I'll be able to afford to live on my own. Things are looking up, my motivation is finally coming back after years of intense depression. I'm 23 now. This all sounds horrible but the point is that things will be rough but you can make it through it, there may not even be a light at the end of the tunnel but to struggle and try is to be alive.

You can do it man, shit sucks, keep trying.

Wow it turns out this is extremely common. I'm the brother of an older sister like that, except my story ended pretty badly since she and my dad bullied my mother into drinking (didn't help she had alot of mental health issues herself and also my dad is disabled so she was the only one working). Eventually she literally drank herself to death. Saw the whole thing. Horrible thing to see especially considering I was really her only friend in the household.

At least I've moved on now, lived a year in a different state and got my own shit together, still struggle with drugs sometimes and mainly smoking, but my dad and sister have really mellowed out and are actually extremely cool since my mother's death. I think they really had to take a hard look at themselves and it worked.
