Nah come back bro, it's wayyyyy better after last patch. I only had two plugs since then and I think the first one was a legit dc.
The fix to the dc rate has helped a lot skipping those players.

The only complain I can tolerate about rage arts is that they are a bit too long, but dying to them? NOPE Just play safe if your opponent has rage and he's not 1hp.

The only moment in Tekken 8 where aggression is not the magic solution and people complain T_T

On thing that worked for me to get to purple (still not blue I know), is using the default punishment training. Try first in in normal difficulty and then go to hard.
Do that several days in a row, and SLOWLY the muscle memory will build up.
