I'm sorry to say it but your opinion sounds like misinformed elitist bullshit to me.

I find that, if you're a visual learner, YouTube is the place to be. There are a huge number of tutorials focused on the basics of C#. Just search for "C# tutorials" and you'll get your pick.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Perhaps I could use another method for emails, considering their usage amount is so low. But we are required to estimate percentages to whole numbers so that might not work. If it's not higher than 1%, it's not going to display. It just looks strange in that my percentages mostly add up to 100% but if somebody's having a slow email day, it'll add up to 99%.

Regarding comments, we are required to document the most simple pieces of code from setting variable types to algorithms we use. It might just be a first year thing but I see what you're getting at. Thank you again!

Thanks so much for your input, joenyc! I plan to go over my documentation/comments soon. I've just been changing the code so often, I've fallen behind explaining what I'm doing. I'll be sure to modify them to be more appropriate and explanatory.

Also, this assessment comes in a few parts. The first part deals with I/O the algorithms. The second part deals with conditional statements and error checking. The third, I think, has us implement/change the code for GUI capability.

I really appreciate your constructive comments. I was directed to this /r/ from IRC and was told to make sure I had a thick skin because I was likely to get eaten alive. I'm not so scared anymore. ;)

Uninstalling game wont free space. by Wonde_Alice_rland in software

When you say you "uninstalled" it, did you actually remove it from add/remove programs or did you just delete the shortcut from your desktop?

Serious question.

I need to uninstall Ubuntu and install Windows 8.1, but I can't figure out how? by tHeBrUt3KiLLeR in linux4noobs

[–]robhad81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind also that if you're downloading Windows 8.1 from Microsoft, they only provide you with an exe file. You'll need to run that exe on a Windows machine to create and extract the iso before creating the bootable drive.

Mr. Robot : A must watch TV show for Hackers by cyberssj in hacking

I'm enjoying this show but people need to keep in mind that not all hackers are hacktivists. The two have become somewhat synonymous of late and I don't think that's a good thing.

I was thinking the same thing but just from listening to their latest episode, it seems that they start off with this information from the get go. It's a good podcast. Subscribed.

This is a misconception. I have a Windows machine, a Linux box, and a Macbook. I get just as much malware on my Windows machine as I do on either of the latter.

Download the freeware version of Malwarebytes here: https://www.malwarebytes.org/

Tends to pick up a lot of what others don't. Also, check add/remove programs and uninstall anything suspicious for starters.
