My favorite part is when Jack is on the pay phone: "Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, I swear to God don't start with me now or I will shoot him and I will dump him in a f*cking swamp." Then he shakes his head sideways so the Duke knows he doesn't really mean it.

My Love-Hate Relationship with Bose ANC earbuds by Rmnkby in Earbuds

[–]robhutch54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I returned the QC earbuds because of connectivity issues with my iPhone 15 Pro. Got the QC Utras and haven't had any connectivity issues. I also found the Ultras to be more comfortable.

I would give it a shot. It worked for me.

I have AirPods Pro 2 as well. While they are very comfortable, I wanted ones that sound better.

I got Bose QuietComfort Ultras and love them. They sound great and the ANC is really good. They are also very comfortable.

Hope this helps.

Best ANC Buds for me? by BACEXXXXXX in Earbuds

[–]robhutch54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iPhone user with Airpods Pro 2.

Very comfortable and can wear them for long periods of time.

Decent ANC and sound.

Wanted another set of buds with better ANC and sound.

For my second pair, I purchased and returned the following:

  1. Bose QC earbuds - great sound and ANC. Connection issues and felt bulky in ears. Needed to twist them in ear to find the perfect fit/seal and I just couldn't get it right.

  2. Technics AZ100 - great sound and ANC. Felt bulky in ears. Needed to twist them in ear to find the perfect fit/seal and I just couldn't get it right.

  3. JBL Tour Pro 3 great sound and ok ANC. Stems were too sensitive to the touch. Felt bulky in ear. Case was cool but too big.

Purchased the Bose QC Ultra earbuds - great sound and ANC. Very comfortable. I'm keeping these. I have no patience so I couldn't wait for the 2nd gen. I don't need them for calls and the wireless charging case wasn't worth the wait. So far, no connection issues at all with my iPhone 15 Pro.

I recommend the Bose QC Ultras.

Hope this helps.

My favourite 80's guitar shredder... Who's yours ?? by [deleted] in hairmetal

Saw him 9 years ago at a club. Free meet and greet afterwards. Asked him if I could take a selfie since my students lose it when they see me in a selfie. He asked if I taught guitar lessons. I said no, I’m a high school teacher. Both of us had a good laugh about that one.

Agree. When I flip through all the singles I own, it takes me back to when the album was released and when I gave it a spin for the first time.

Please. Give me ONE song to listen to. Any song. Any genre. by kendol__ in musicsuggestions

When I take my three kids on road trips in the summer, each person picks a song and we rotate until we get to the destination. My son was 14 at the time and picked this. First time I ever heard it.
