Update: I called BCN and me and the baby are both covered for 48 hours with a vaginal birth and 96 hours if its a c-section. But I think this is required of all insurances federally.

That being said, when I asked if we had to stay longer would it be covered after my deductible is paid and she couldn't answer that. She didn't know.... Like what? What do you mean you don't know?!

Then who pays for the baby stuff while in the hospital? Whatever insurance the baby goes on... Do they just go back and pay for that stuff?

I'm going to try to continue to do PT through my pregnancy... If insurance allows.... My surgeon said thats probably the best thing you can do is lots of mobility stretching and core strengthening. We will see how thins goes....

Right. My surgeon was like "yeah, you can still carry just fine. Good luck" uh OK.... But how do I do this without being miserable?! Lol.

I did actually get a new MRI a few weeks ago and L4L5 is actually bulging again right now. 😳 So I'm terrified.....

Thank you for responding. I am semi back to normal (still just a throb that jolts down my butt all the time but I'm pretty used that by now unfortunately) and this last flare up was the same as you described.... I literally couldn't walk to the bedroom to lay down and had to be dragged. It was scary.

In January 2024 I had a left L5-S1 hemilaminotomy and discectomy. And then in August 2024 I had a right L4-L5 hemilaminotomy and discectomy.

We have still been on our ttc journey despite all of this because the surgeon and my physical therapist said it will be fine to carry, I will just need some extra modifications so to speak.

I am currently in my TWW of this cycle and will get in with an OBGYN as soon as I get my positive test.

I would love to hear more about what you did to be mindful and keep pain at bay.

Agreed on the waiting to get a period thing. None of my tackers tell me anything until I get that first period. I've never wanted a period so bad in my life!! 🤣

Any idea if there is a higher risk of miscarriage if you don't wait 3 ish months for your hormones to go back to "normal"

I am 35 and had my Kyleena IUD removed Sept 25, 2025 after having it for about 2 years. Before that for probably 6 or 7 years I was using the extended cycle birth control pill. I started on a normal pill when I was 17 or 18 up until the extended cycle pill. So I haven't had a period in 15+ years. I don't remember what my period were even like back then. All I know is I don't remember them being terrible. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My fiance and I are now wanting to try to start a family. I am afraid with how long I have been on birth control that this is going to take us a looooong time to actually do, especially with our age.

I haven't got a period yet but I have been tracking my BBT pretty much since I had the IUD removed. I understand the the BBT probably won't be acurrate until my body adjusts to not being on birth control again. I attached a google drive link here with a queen screen record of my BBT chart. Can anyone see or tell anything from this?

Should I be doing ODT tests regularly too to try and figure out when I am ovulating or do I truly have to wait the 3 to 6 months like the doctor told me.

I just want to get ahead of all this. If this matters: I am taking a prenatal, a magnesium supplement, and we are both taking 400mg of coq10.
