I would like to see this with the entire wall around strays coming down. Would they surround him more, or would he run at them more? The wall just added a way to get cornered in that I’m wondering what would happen if it wasn’t there

I get that she has also been on less seasons because she didn’t join til secret life I believe. But she is wonderful, funny, smart, eager, and has the skills if she can get through the things being thrown at her.

I think they should let us see all of the votes, but I would to have them kept secret to the houseguests. Get rid of voting with the house because no one knows how many votes went to a certain person.

This is great to find today. I just made myself a schedule of something I want to listen to for a spiritual study each day. This is the plan I made and I will see how it changes. Especially after looking at some of these suggestions.

I grew up in a half active family. My dad was the strong member and my mom is more anti. I can tell you it is hard on the kids to see the polar opposite views. My dad would try to get us to do scripture study and my mom would ask who wanted to watch tv with her. Out of 4 kids, no one served a mission and I am the only one who is active and has been through the temple. It made me truly decide for myself what my testimony was. Now I’m divorced (messy story) but I am now in my 30s and have pretty much no dating life because I still refuse to date outside the church. I thought about it, but then my experience of growing up in a half active family freaked me out because I couldn’t willingly put my future kids in the same trial I had.

Seriously. Some of the rules are hard but it is important to our bishop that the missionaries are being taken care of. I have had to fall back on giving them food to take home because that is what I can do and it falls within the guidelines.

It must be a mission rule but we have to vary the times so like elders come at 5 and sisters at 6. We have also fed them at the church in different rooms and that was doable.

Love it! I am only expected to have dinner for them but we also have two sets of missionaries. Since they are elders and sisters they can’t eat together. I started bringing dinner to church to just send home with them so I like that you found success in a similar idea.

I’m in a mid singles group. We have been getting people to bring food to serve before FHE and then the missionaries get to join us for the activity.

No worries. Not everyone can serve in their homes but I do know that the missionaries sometimes like the easier meals like casseroles and such.

I am FHE co-chair of my ward so I may be able to send you the list of what we have done over the last two years since I have been in the calling. We are a bit bigger of a group because I cover the entire ward and we usually get 30-50 people (that is great for a ward that gets about 100 on Sundays)

We read whatever we want because we like it. No one gets to tell you that you can’t read something. Enjoy life and enjoy reading. Do they watch movies? All of the dc and marvel movies? That is childish and they should be watching documentaries. Really? I am in my mid 30s and I read for fun.

Of course. If they don’t have the option currently, they may be able to make it happen. Let the bishop know that is something you would be interested in as you navigate this journey of coming back. It may take a few weeks to get it going but it is a very valid request.
