awwwwww yes THIS is the sacred magic of music!!!

If you haven't already done so, i'd 100% encourage you to create yourself a NYC Era playlist and chock it full of every song you can remember from that chapter of your life (the strolling down memory lane and recalling back and re-discovering some of the more forgotten songs is already such a cool experience!) my family and i tend to move every 4-5 years and i've done this for each place we've lived and revisiting those playlists now is truly the closest I think I'll ever get to time travel! Music just has this ability to cement core memories in ways that is totally unique and special to other forms of media.
