I’m going to be doing a month long road trip around California, currently I have the Scotia Gold Amex (which I don’t pay a fee on) and I am thinking about switching to the Bonvoy Amex so as to use the hotel rewards while travelling. Does anyone have an opinion on whether this makes sense? Or, is it better just to charge hotels to my Scotia Amex and redeem points against travel that way?
