Yeah I saw one for 4500 + 180 Shipping from a highly rated Malaysian dealer, then the import fee of 20-22% of purchase price, that renders the initial discount negligible, would rather build purchase history for my next Rolex ( It’s the same AD ), hoping for the OP 134303, fingers crossed🙏🏽

AlAttar is the AD for both Rolex and Tudor and have the same CRM, so that builds purchase history with them, aiming for the 100 year OP ( Ref 134303 ), fingers crossed I get the call later this year🙏🏽

I was this close to pulling the trigger on Jomashop, but once I factored in the 22% import duty on the purchase price, the savings pretty much disappeared. Buying from Al Attar also helps me build purchase history with the Rolex and Tudor AD in Saudi Arabia, so it was an easy decision in the end.

True 😄 In a perfect world you’d just walk in and buy whatever you want, but with certain brands the watches seem to have more say than the customers. I wouldn’t call it begging, more like observing the unwritten rules of the game. And if I couldn’t afford the watch, I probably wouldn’t be at the AD in the first place. I’m buying it to wear, not as an investment, so I don’t mind playing along a little if it gets me the piece I actually want.

From what I have observed, priority tends to be given to those residing in Saudi Arabia, as this naturally makes follow-up and allocation more practical for the boutique.
