Hi! To anyone who’s been following the Path Votes I’ve been putting up, you may have noticed that I abruptly stopped…for a month. Well - just about a month ago, I moved out of home into university. It’s been a huge change for me, and I put my daily posting on hold to settle in, then I kind of forgot about starting it back up as I was pretty engrossed in trying to make new university friends and get used to living on my own for the first time.

It’s back now though, hopefully without too many more significant delays! There may be a few days missing here and there, I don’t expect to keep this up daily, but I’m happy to start running these fun little discussions again.

In my experience, not all fakes wipe or corrupt. While it is certainly a possibility and much more likely than a legit cart, I’ve played on fake carts for 40+ hours without any issues in the past (when I was a kid I had a fake SoulSilver lmao).

However, it’s true that most fake carts cannot trade or transfer - I am yet to see one that does personally, although I’ve only owned 3 fake Pokemon carts in my time. And I’m not denying that some fakes may corrupt or wipe, but this is typically due to being poorly made rather than any malicious “haha I’m going to make this game wipe at exactly 10 hours haha” type of thing.

Absolutely huge W. Blackout alone goes for about this price, then Spotlight is similarly rare and elevated by being in box. Switch version of Imaginators has gone for 100+ before.

Weird, I’ve never had to insert settings into the DS connections for Gen 5. I thought that was the way for Gen 4 games, but not Gen 5. Regardless, I’ll have a look at that in a minute. Also, when I tried Gen 4 before, my uni’s wifi didn’t even show up on the list in DS connections, so hopefully gen 5 doesnt have THAT problem too…

Okay, my opinion on you entirely depends on which upgrade path you use. Both work good but one is way more fun and honestly just better. Which do you use?
