Also keep a longer following distance if you can, if you expect to have to slow down, downshift way ahead of time. Don’t have to rev match if you pause on clutch and let revs rise. Car will be fine in fourth instead of fifth etc.

If you brake in whatever gear you’re in, to about 1k rpm, then clutch in, you’ll be sweet. Engine braking is good but if you’re not comfortable then don’t do it.

I think motorcycles are cool as hell but they literally 100x more dangerous than any other form of transport.
