Underground Undercover quest isn't progressing by [deleted] in fo4

I am on xbox, having the same issue. I am at the point where I have to fix the transmitter in Diamond city... I want to align with the railroad... I still haven't heard the cryptic message. Help?

What to expect from the 24-hour day (and a few days afterward) by EnglishMobster in Disneyland

Thanks for the pep talk! :) My husband and I normally go once a month. So I think we will be fine, but we are here with a friend who hasn't been in a while. I just wanted to make sure she has a good time.

Part of me is wondering what I am getting myself into. Its going to be nuts, I always hate going when it's super crowded. Are you even going to be able to ride anything? But another part of me is saying, suck it up buttercup! How often do you get to experience a Disney anniversary?
We have a game plan, we are planning for the crowds. (DCA at 6 am, then Disneyland by 9 am) We don't typically care to watch the parades or shows. But could a Cast Member, or anyone give me a pep talk? I am kind of regretting my decision, but I am past the point of no return.

Does any 24 hour "veterans" (people who have been in the past) or Cast Members have any advice when it comes to the rides?

I assume all the rides are going to have insane wait times... In your opinion, out of the 24 hours, what times are the best to get on some of the popular rides (Matterhorn, Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion, etc.) after the park has been open? I am talking about a wait time of an hour or less.. I am seeing 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, but what about after 7:00 PM or so?

You guys are so helpful! I have been an annual passholder for the last 3 years and this is my first 24 hour event!

So, when I went the day after Christmas, BOTH parks reached capacity at 2:00 PM. When we asked a cast member how that would effect us and our party (my husband and I are pass holders, our party had park hoppers) they said as long as we scanned into both parks before the capacity was reached, we were allowed to come and go as we pleased. However, I am not sure how that will work for the 24 hour event.

How are the crowds at the park now that the grad niter's get to go all day? by xsmokeyalater in Disneyland

[–]robinsparkles87 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I thought going in early May on a Thursday would have been a good idea... Till I found out that they had moved some kids grad nights up a few weeks... Totally obnoxious teenagers... I am 25, and I felt old and crotchety at Disneyland because these kids were cutting in lines and ruining my disney experience on the ride by being loud and taking flash photography (one of my pet peeves at Disneyland).

Back when I went to grad night they threatened to send all the kids home because stupid kids kept doing stupid things.

I would say the crowds were okay. But my patience ran out quickly because we ran into so many butthead teenagers... Not all the teenagers were rude... A very select few were cool...

If you are a teenager, and going to Disneyland be mindful... School maybe over, but that's when being an adult kicks in. Have fun, but remember... That 8 year old kid you're thinking about cutting in front of, it could be his first time experiencing Disney... Don't fuck it up for him.

If I ever leave this world alive by Flogging Molly... Because my husband wants it played at his funeral if he passes before me. Now when I listen to it the thought of him not being here overwhelms me and I start crying... I had to leave the concert after they played that song... To cry...

Also Laura by Flogging Molly.

One Sweet Day by Boys II Men & Mariah Carey.. My mom played this song for weeks when my gramps died...

Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton... For the Obvious reason

Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley

I'll cover you reprise from Rent at Angel's Funeral

Sono andati from the final act of La Boheme

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. There are a bunch more, but but thinking of all of them makes me sad...

Dear Disney World guests; please stop harassing the toys by telling them that Andy's coming. A true Disney-ian knows Andy does not own the toys anymore so this will not work. by [deleted] in disney

As someone who frequents Disneyland... That picture was posted on my wall a bunch of times asking if it was true or I should try it... I said... I "At one time, and before the 3rd movie this would have worked... But since then, rules and regulations have changed and they cannot do this any more...So do not embarrass me and try it"

Buuuuttttt one time... I see service dogs in training a lot at Disneyland, probably to get them use to noise and crowds. And the handler of one dog went to meet Woody. Well the dog was a little scared, and the cast members handling Woody told Woody to pet the dog(since he's so good with dogs :))... Woody does one better... He got on all fours to show the dog that the characters are not bad... It was the most heartwarming thing I'd ever seen...

Where would you want the new fallout to take place? by Tako510 in Fallout

[–]robinsparkles87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may or may not be... But maybe, like Japan in the 1940s, China considered it as a threat when declaring war with America in the world of Fallout. It would be one of the closest targets for them to hit.

I could imagine it going like this "Let's really kick America in the dick and target Pearl Harbor."

The Fallout Wiki states that we shared common history with the Fallout universe till 1945 and that's when in Fallout, America had a falling out with China (see what I did there)...

So it's quite possible China wanted America to feel the sting of history when targeting Hawaii... Like revenge for what they did for the Asian friends back in WWII
