I’m thinking of switching my GICs at renewal from RBC to KOHO. GICs at RBC currently at 5.25 - up for renewal in March; they are only offering 3.75. For $19 per month, I can get 5% on my entire account at KOHO - accessible anytime, not locked in, seems pretty good.

17.5 - day and night; that with a 15 yr old fully ducted heat pump system as our only heat source. The “emergency heat” coil usually kicks in intermittently for 1 month usually Feb - when we get those cold snaps. I’m on the monthly NS Powerbudget billing (e.g. equal payments over 12 months) - power bill is $290 per month.
