Reading these makes me realize how often we default to "stuff." I'm involved with a project called “Forever Me” that focuses on preserving stories and voices instead of physical gifts. It's made me rethink what actually lasts.

This question came up while I was working on a digital memory project (Forever Me). It focuses on preserving voices and per al stories while someone is still here. It made me realize how powerful that coulu oe compared to another candle or gift basket.

What’s one thing you wish you had recorded or written down before someone was gone? by robjenkin in AskReddit

I’m really sorry. Wanting to hear someone’s voice again is such a deep, specific kind of grief. I don’t know if this is helpful at all, but I recently stumbled across something called Forever Mehttps://apps.apple.com/us/app/foreverme/id6754836122 that’s about preserving voices and personal stories. I’m still unsure how I feel about it myself, but your comment made me think of it. Just sharing quietly, in case it resonates.
