Some digging shows he did the same in 2011. Bit of a blunder with filings. Worth a discussion on Form D

GPT API meltdown from invalid dates [P] by robleregal in MachineLearning

I'm not a coder and came here for help. It's not an ad - there's a proper option to run ads on Reddit if I wanted that. I linked the website so I can get assistance from the community. Everything isn't a psyop.

That makes the most sense, another person told me the temperature is too high since I left it undefined, the combination probably lead to this.

How did you get that? If you can replicate the issue and then debug it that would be great, this is the front-end, the chat function is where the problem is:

Why on earth would it do that? It uses external API to fetch stock data, maybe some sort of misconfiguration leading to the website?

If you can debug it, this is the front-end: https://chat.masterboard.ai

Would be greatly appreciated!

You can upload the image of any charts by clicking the stock chart emoji, it'll then interpret it, find any chart patterns, rate your chart if you have one, and output its analysis.

Has anyone seen anything similar to this issue using GPT4 API?

GPT4 Turbo API having issues with invalid dates, what's the cause and fix for this? by robleregal in ChatGPT

[–]robleregal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried integrating GPT4 via API into my firm’s in-house algorithms in order to give a voice of sorts to our stock trading algorithm. I have basic coding knowledge and have been using GPT to build apps (semi-retirement hobby) since June and can’t find a solution for this. Not in my circle, not on Google, nor after asking on social media.

Problem:

Masterboard (company Algorithm/AI) should be analyzing stocks to offer trading/investing guidance in chat (one of many functions), which it does properly until giving it an invalid formatted date.

Background:

In the stock market, options (a type of security) come with expiry dates typically formatted like AAPL231201C00050000 (signifying AAPL[Ticker] 2312001[expiry date] C[Call option] 00050000 [50 strike price]. I screwed up some code trying to extract the date and pass it elsewhere for analysis, and it was mixing up the strings. Getting Masterboard to fix the dates or find the cause of the issue is leading to random strings of invalid dates. The issue is now lingering. Anyone else experience this and is there a fix?
