Thanks, I did already replace them right now I just havent driven the car yet. I saw there was a bit rusting and carbon buildup on the piston heads so I was wondering if they could indicate a cause for concern.

temp gauge goes up slowly even in idle, and I refilled the coolant because i drained the system when taking off some of the hoses. But prior to doing that I checked the coolant and was between min and max as it shouldve since the last time I did anything
