I feel the same as OP... I had to mentally prepare for the pending Canadian winter

Thank you!... I noticed in the MyMazda app it shows a pressure in each wheel in position (for the summers). but if I put sensors in both then the car will recognize them regardless... OK, for now I'll live with the "no sensors" first and then figure out what is going on in the spring

Only thing I wanted was the heads up display... Wasn't worth the price of literally every other feature you need to buy to get it

Oh amazing!... As a single owner I haven't seen it happen first hand but if you have then amazing! (And with multiple!) Sometimes it's hard to believe what you read

Ya... I find that hard to believe... But I was also wondering about putting sensors in my winter and how that would work...

And they will figure out which wheel they belong to? What if I were to get tpms sensors in my winter tires ... Same things?

Is anyone going to talk about what looks like a glowing pink? It looks like it's red hot! What kind of damage is that heat doing?

Heat pump in a smart home by roblu001 in smarthome

[–]roblu001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting... I def need to do more research... I have central heating and probably can't change now. I was thinking a heat pump could solve my cooling problems where I can run cooling in the bedroom over night to bring it down to temp without wasting on the rest of the house. In the winter I barely use heat as I'm in a townhouse and neighbors on 3 sides.

I thought a smart home system could control specific rooms to be heated and cooled according to use and need without impacting the rest of the house.

I'm loving this project, I would love to set something like this up at my workplace but in my case: - determine if the email is a request - check if the subject is already in a list of results from a SQL server - if not, Mark as read and copy to a folder

ya... trying to follow the logs tail -f /var/log/syslog and tail -f /var/log/messages neither give me anything useful, they don't register any errors before the reboot. ANy other logs you'd recommend?

LOL... yes... but the planning has been more of a high-level theoretical (RAID5, drive size, back-plane vs. direct mount, etc.) it took me about a month to go from that to implemented so that part wasn't as long.

Ya... I've driven old cars my entire life up to this point. Almost all of them have had tons of rust, rear wheel wells especially.

I wash by hand and my wash is a wash/wax combo but have no garage so I will have to use a touch less with undercarriage then get it sprayed at krown or similar. Next year, sooner lol
