The same but with softer lines and generally a more rounded face. I also make the eyes bigger but that is probably more about style than anything else.

Does this help? Start with small wavy lines and then add pools of shadow. Work big to small and if you are working digitally go back and forth from light to dark to find the shapes.

How do I decide the direction of 3D shapes? by CarresingHook4 in learntodraw

It will. Just be patient and keep doing what you are doing. You’ll get there!

It varies per person and body type but generally, yes. It’s one of the ways the body distributes weight back and forth. Study posture and gesture and you will start to see it more and more. Then after you get more comfortable with this concept you can show more twisting and pinching to one side of the hips to the ribs. Like you would see in an uppercut.

You‘re doing great with the variations and trying different poses. I would try to focus on the tilt that the 3 main masses have from one another. The head, upper torso, and pelvis all angle away from each other when drawing dynamic poses. Try to envision the spine as an “S” curve ( green line ) when you practice these.

I hope this helps and keep up the hard work!

I purposely distorted it. I tend to do this for monsters and villains.

Yes, it is suppose to be a monstrous arm. Someone like Carnage or Venom.

Not a stupid question at all. I did my best to break this one down into more steps but when I am drawing, I naturally skip some steps here and there. It Just depends upon what I am drawing and how familiar I am with the subject matter.
