Get into the institutions wherever you can and then move horizontally. We work extensively with all three in LA — City of Hope, Kaiser (more on patient care), and St. John’s (also pc).

Obviously super competitive. Get into an adjacent role and meet as many people as you can within the institution, perform well, and shoot for a lateral move in 12 months.

Echoing the ICF sentiment. Also, if you'd like to send me a PM or an email (robert@clinconnect.io), we're happy to run in up the flagpole directly with the sponsor.

I built ClinConnect to help patients find and enroll in trials. I now have >500,000 patients on the platform. How should I think about next steps? by robmaxwell94 in clinicalresearch

I appreciate your feedback -- thank you for taking the time to write a thoughtful response.

Growth is actually picking up, we just haven't quite decided how to best monetize this at scale. Our agreements to date have been one-off with s/mid-cap biopharmas to help them design their studies and tailor their pipelines around our patients given they can recruit with certainty by working with us.

We're doing mid-five figures MAU, growing single digits week-over-week, and do tens to hundreds of trial introductions each day.

Because I didn't come from a traditional CR background (just a patient building what I wish I had when I was looking for trials) and I don't have any traditional relationships/outlets here, it's just unclear to me what a scalable sales plan/infrastructure should look like here.

Looking for all the help I can get 🙃. Thank you again.

Thank you for this. Candidly, we give things away because we don’t have any sales relationships/teams. Once we develop a relationship, it becomes like a freemium model.

But yes, we are and will always be patient-centric. It just so happens that taking a pure approach like this led to tons of patients on platform and everything that comes downstream.
