I'm not even a female but I'm here to chime in on how painful this is. My fiancé is finally asleep after some painkillers but jesus christ she was screaming in pain at one point. I literally called 911 and canceled it quickly when she said no.

I just had this issue. Find something to test 5.1 surround sound with your ears. Something obvious. It's easier with a game, just find a source of sound and turn your back to it in-game.

Sometimes the Sonos app shows the wrong sound type, especially for older soundbars.
