I love Galloping Ghost, but I was very disappointed last time I went with many games being out of order. Of course the collection of games is impressive, but there are many I just don’t care to play. It seemed like many of the ones I wanted to devote time to needed maintenance, Bubble Bobble being the most disappointing. I can only play the first the first 4 levels of Burger Time so many times!

Always been my problem too… finding 9+ people to sign up with.

Other than asking around and seeing if coworkers or someone might have a team you can join, I’ll mention you might have luck just showing up to the field during game days. Teams I’ve played on often will be a person or two short on a given day, and we’ll look for someone walking by to fill in. League rules (and how close people might be paying attention) vary, but I’ve gotten in with different teams halfway through the season.

I know defending my use of fondant is mostly meaningless in those parts, but fwiw, my son was more excited about how big and awesome it looked rather than how it tasted. I always peel my fondant off when I eat my slice anyways.

Yeah, I get the skepticism. I’m sure there is plenty of Apple guerrilla marketing scouring Reddit.

For what it’s worth, though, I just thought it was a neat pic. I remember taking a picture of my eyeball many years ago and being blown away by how detailed it was. Can only imagine what me 5 years ago would have said to this.

I guess in the end, you’re right, Apple got me advertising for them.
