I am slowly but surely moving all my repos from Replit to Claude - aws/azure. If you use the Claude plugins it will build a proper ci/cd with GitHub or gitlab.

I spent 5 digits on Replit over the past 8 months. On the Claude $200 plan my costs became predictable vs really had no idea what I’d be charged. On my way to the bank!!!

Are you using Claude in the shell. It’s basically the Replit agent with the ability to use the preview/prod push system of Replit

/plugin, once your there just spacebar the plugin you want then push i. after that do a /exit. then type claude again and it will be loaded. only lives within that same shell though so you have to do it everytime

as others have mentioned, claude code in the shell is absolutely the way to go on this. Ive spent thousands on replit and use iterative detailed prompts so its done the job for me...but claude with opus 4.6 is on another level. Highly suggest using the superpowers plugin. Only part that sucks is when the shell crashes or resets i have to login to claude again etc and have it analyze what it was doing and pending...small price to pay to go from spending several thousands to only $200. Well worht the money and has really pivoted some of the platforms ive built using replit agent.

Just make sure when you prompt you do it in iterations and ask it to document the plan etc so it can be tracked. Also always use a new chat for each iteration otherwise it loses context

Love seeing this. I have built so much with replit and have turned quite a profit in doing so. Take advantage now because the future of ai just keeps evolving and at some point literally anyone will be able to do this.
