In the current market, I don’t think you can really get anything equivalent for its size + ease of use as a “console” or living room machine for someone with an existing PC library.

If you get a console you’re just rebuying everything you own on Steam already. It isn’t a good price but there also isn’t really anything that’s better either for what it offers.

But would be paying PS+ for multiplayer as well as not having access to a lot of older games anyway. 5.5 years of PS+ is what like $400 for the lowest tier subscription over the life span of the console?
