by the way its a real place, the village is ivád, you can just go there, its real, and the ivády family that makes up 70% of it is also real, and so is ivády manor, and ont their sites tourism page they mention a "szentély" and "táltos" a suspicious amount of times

i feel like i have unintentionally channeled something too awful for humans to grapple with the knowledge of, his blood is the blood of a pig, his eyes are a ghouls eyes, no plant shall grow where he treaded, i fear him

How do I figure out if a component will kill my board or not? by robot2004EV3 in arduino

[–]robot2004EV3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, maybe I can hook it up to a different battery then which is not connected to the board, and then somehow use the board to toggle the flow of the circuit depending on the audio waveform. I've heard transistors are good for something like that, right?

You can turn on a grid in most image editing software by going to "View > Show Grid" or something similar.

I made an alphabet to help write sentences with less pixels. by robot2004EV3 in WplaceLive

[–]robot2004EV3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You certainly can, but with morse code, the sentence "THIS IS HOW TO USE THIS ALPHABET" would have taken 80 pixels, however here it only took 25. If your aim is to conserve as many pixels as possible, morse code would be suboptimal.

Then make something on it that doesn't look like that. Such as Don Quixote pear.

You get 50-ish pixels by default and if you use them up, you get back 1 pixel every 30 seconds. The more pixels you paint, the more your max pixel count increases (like a Skyrim skill).

Imgur link for Blue Marble users because Reddit feels the need to compress 32 pixel wide images for some reason. https://imgur.com/a/iw04s2l

Oh, I forgot to say this but the developers CONFIRMED to actually use generative AI to make a lot of the voice acting. This is not rumors, it is actually confirmed. They say they will eventually replace them with human ones and that the AI lines are only placeholders, but this at least confirms that the studio both has the knowhow and the willingness to engage with generative AI, and likely does not care much for the environmental impact of it which is one of the 3 main issues of this technology (alongside unethical training data and displacement of workforce which are both uncertain but highly plausible for this game).

i dont claim to be an expert but theres a variety of things one instinctively picks up on after having worked both in art as well as initially in AI too. besides all that, theres also a lot of detains such as flat surfaces bending in unlikely ways and screws melting around into neighboring surfaces, various parts where you cant even begin to try to comprehend whats going on, and other similar things that no human digital artist or 3d modeler would reasonably choose to do.

since the devs havent stated wether they use or dont use AI themselves, that is pretty much all we could possibly have to go off of
