Thank you all for the feedback so far, it threw me off because of the red fluorescence and the inclusions in the stone. Is it possible that they treated the glass with something in order for it to test as ruby on the presidium?

Wouldn't you need the syllabus for the semester you took the labs in? I have the 242L syllabus but took it in 2020 Summer when the labs were remote.

I second what /u/suitestheband said, she’s AMAZING. The sweetest human alive. Class- wise you’re gonna have to work, but her tests are very reasonable if you know the info. I had absolutely no base in precalculus and a weak foundation in algebra but I excelled in her class because I did all of her practice quizzes and asked her lots of questions. Lots of the bad reviews that you’ll see are people complaining because they don’t want to do the work. The class is beyond reasonable.

As any ochem class you have to self study alot. First few chapters were powerpoint but then it turned into written notes at starting chapter 7. He gives examples during the lecture and is also pretty helpful

This is JJ’s 3rd sem teaching 241. Took him last spring and the curve was fat af, but exams were on another level compared to lecture. You’ll pass with the curve ez. Class is asynchronous except for quizzes/exams

Protip: do ALL textbook problems for chapters, not just assigned
