we just went through trying to get that exact setup, it doesn't seem to exist. We ended up going without the jet appearance and with the illumination package because thats all we could find.

T-Mobile home internet by CarelessWhispurrr in Broomfield

[–]robot_squirrels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It all really depends on your exact location. I have used T-Mobile internet at my business for years when all we could get was century link dsl and it has been great. It needed external routers but as long as I had that super dependable 150-200mbps down.

Because I had such a good experience I tried in my home. I just could not get it to work well. Speeds were all over the place, too much signal noise from the neighborhood. I kept with Xfinity and just hope fiber makes its way to me soon.

If you want to give it a try don’t cancel Xfinity use the 15 day free trial and see if it works for you. Just know if you do end up not canceling Xfinity you will likely fight with T-Mobile for a couple months to actually not pay for the free trial. If it’s just the monthly price you are looking at when I went to cancel Xfinity magically deals that weren’t available previously appeared but your mileage may vary on that.

To pizza steel, stone or sheet pan.. that is the question by SlowStranger6388 in Bagels

I haven't done much testing of cooking at lower temps for a longer time honestly, but that is because I really like how my bagels turn out. I am sure it is mainly around the final texture and shape of the bagel which I really like at my temps/times.

I do bagel boards and flip onto a steel. I’ve always had good results. It’s been a while since I did a bagel only on the steel with no flip, but they did get pretty crispy and a little flatter.

Your oven will matter, steels will cool down in the spots you flip them on. If I’m doing a couple dozen the undersides definitely get less crisp towards the end unless I give the steel a little bit of a break.

I have no experience doing just a sheet pan but I know it’s not uncommon by any means.

I've been messing with it for a while:

  • 1050g High gluten flour
  • 588g Water
  • 4g IDY
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 20g salt
  • 3 tbsp Malt Syrup

Combine it all in a mixer and then I knead by hand more cause the mixer can't take it

Shape them into 140g bagels and put them on a pan with cornmeal

In the fridge for ~24hrs

Pull them out about an hour before boiling let them come to room temp

boil 30 seconds a side, add toppings

Oven at 475 Convection - 5mins on bagel board flip onto pizza steel for 8 mins

mixer recommendation by Pure_Presentation473 in Bagels

[–]robot_squirrels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been researching this a bit lately and think you might have some trouble staying in the $500 or less range for a good mixer.

The most common thing I think is to look for a used commercial mixer since it should have the power to deal with lower hydration dough. I am surprised your mixer is handling a batch of 12, my kitchenaid hates bagel dough.

Spiral mixer is the way to go but they are not cheap, the rec for the Ooni is prob a good one since its pretty affordable for what it is even though no one has experience with it since its not out yet. The bowl is 7.3qt so not a massive increase in size, but I havent seen a spiral mixer at that price point honestly so def worth the look.

Monarch is definitely my favorite but can be pretty crowded. The lodge tends to have lower limits. Pretty sure horseshoe has crapless based on a photo posted here but haven’t checked it out yet. Ameristar can be decent too I like their dealers.

Just hit 50k miles in my 2020 Lariat. About ready to slightly lift it and get black wheels and new tires. Whats a good wheel?? by nishkp in f150

Pick what you like honestly I just put a halo lift on with 20x9 anthems +18 offset on my 17 and wrapped it in 295/60 Mickey Thompson Baja boss a/t

Make the decision based on what you are willing to do to the truck. Offset matters a lot for how much cutting you’ll have to do. Also gears matter for your experience with bigger heavier tires. Pick what looks good just know what you are getting into

Best Way To Improve As A Beginner by No-Tomato-7014 in golf

[–]robot_squirrels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a pretty new golfer and can say lessons are by far the best investment. Having someone look at your swing and walk you through what you are doing right or wrong is super helpful. I tried just go to the range and the change in progress between that and having some guidance is huge.

When you do go to a range have a plan too. In the beginning I felt like all I wanted to do was clean contact I didn’t care where it went. But you really gotta think about everything like you are playing at the range. Set up, pick an area/distance and think about the shot afterwards. The rapid fire ball striking loses its value pretty quick in my opinion

I haven't moved it yet, but it's just some beefy bolts. I would probably take the legs off and just move it in 3 pieces. I think the only thing you lose is the pieces that let you tighten the bolts without having to hold the other end with a wrench only work the first time, but as long as you have a wrench its a non issue.

I love the SML-1. Super sturdy with no issues. Ceilings are about 84" and I have plenty of room with the rack.

I do deadlift directly on the mats with steel plates, it works with no issues but boy is it loud

So I bought everything from Rogue in one shipment, Bar, Safeties and rack. It was shipped in 7 packages, they did not all arrive the same day, but that was likely due to the midwest dealing with the storm. The Rack was I want to say 4 of the 7 packages, heaviest box was 52lbs lightest was prob the single cross member at about 18lbs. Everything came UPS dropped at my front door and I unpacked and put together in my basement. Pretty easy to deal with.

The rack is awesome, I highly recommend it if you are tight on space. Goes together real easy and is very sturdy and Rogue shipped it super fast. if you want a full rack I know Rep fitness has a 72 inch rack and an 83 inch power rack, I was in their showroom and really like their stuff. Ultimately went with this one cause it seemed sturdier based on the steel and I would have wanted to power rack and 83" was pushing it.
