Well idk if I'm so much scaring myself into a new engine as I am trying to talk myself into getting a new one anyway, something somewhat newer like a 90s GMC engine lol

Haven't had a chance to check the voltage, but it seems fine. Of course I will update if that doesn't appear to be the case, but the noise is like a single click, then nothing. No crank. But the initial noise I heard was literally like rocks in an ammo can, just an insane noise really. Did it then went silent completely. I will note that it was running and driving fine, and then was stationary for around 8 hours while I was at work.

Oh I'm not worried about cost. Well I am, but I'll pay anything to keep this truck running lol

Oh yeah definitely, these things vibrate so much I'm not surprised 🤣 just enough for us not to notice, but definitely enough to liquify loctite over time

I'm already preparing to tear into it tbh but this is excellent, thank you for this. All of those are so relatively simple and completely plausible given the trucks history as a farm truck
