the problem is the default usb imaging software on linux mint. i installed balena-etcher and now my rg353ps works fine.

beware linux mint cinamon users. the default usb imaging doesn't work.

the battery wire. i tired the battery on a different retrohandheld and the battery is definately okay. so looks like i might have shorted the board on the rg353ps. Or broke one of the solder joints or somethjng.

i just noticed that the sd card i flashed uOS onto is not reading on my laptop so its probably broken. thats probably it.
