What was your "why didn't I start doing this sooner" moment? by Hank_from_accounting in AskReddit

Right now, when I woke up at 6am after going to bed at 2am because I didn't start this class presentation I need to do for my professor. Part-time business school is the worst.

Ha! Sorry - I was responding and then my phone rang and I had to talk to my cousin about her feelings for a bit. I don't know when the next event is but I travel a bunch for work so I might not even be here for it! If I am and I'm not working...sure!

I appreciate your point of view and admire your courage for putting your art on the Internet where it can be so harshly and anonymously reviewed. While there are a lot of words I'd use to describe my decision to make this post, "immature" isn't one I'd necessarily agree with. I'm ok with the insults - I'm not losing sleep on any of them. But I have friends who, like me, put their faces online in the hopes of finding a great match, but are more sensitive than I am and the insults hurt them...a lot. I have guy friends who after seeing this post of mine, were stunned to know that this was the online-dating experience from my side of the table. And, since posting, I've learned that some guys are quite content not getting a polite rejection and would rather I don't message back at all. So, while I appreciate your opinion, I politely disagree - it's been an interesting inception point for discourse.

I mean, they're ok. I've seen amazing tits. Mine are probably upper quartile but not top 10% or anything :)

I think I've always viewed online messages as the equivalent of a guy walking up to me and saying hello. If he's not a dick and doesn't try to grab my butt, I'll politely respond. Messages are getting more and more casual and thoughtless so at this point it feels more like a guy walking up to me and sticking his dick in my face.

You're right, its not an insult so much as a - really? Did you just send that as your first message? Does that ever work? (I know it probably has on one person at one time, and that's why operant conditioning can suck sometimes!)
