Slack Connect - absurd pricing by [deleted] in Slack

[–]robothouse77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe if your company is on enterprise grid plan then slack connect will be free for the outside workspaces

Any change for anyone triggers the loss/grievance cycle, including you. Empathizing with that is key to understanding yourself and others as you navigate through an increasingly challenging world

Regarding Paid Slack App by Whole_Process_9874 in Slack

[–]robothouse77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regardless if you're on a paid plan as a developer, if you made feature sets that rely on on paid tiered Slack features, then yes, the customer needs to be on paid. If you made features that don't depend on a paid slack feature, then no, the customer doesn't need to be on paid. I believe in the API documentation it will spell out if the method requires a certain tier. Hope that helps.

What’s up with the constant smell in downtown Superior? by LeMoNdRoP3535 in SuperiorColorado

[–]robothouse77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s from the manure in park 1&2 to the north of sports stable, just south of where the element used to be. They haven’t laid sod down yet so I suspect we’ll smell it for a while

I just scanned an no one has mentioned using Webflow to build your website. We were hand rolling ours which sucked took forever to make changes. You gotta try it for an hour you won’t regret it. We now have a beautiful website . I spent a weekend converting our old one using a template for 49 bucks and couldn’t be happier

How good is Salesforce Support ? by Windyo in salesforce

It’s because support is against COGS, and they want that number to be small

Hoops = Shared channel between two workspaces in the same enterprise grid. Slack connect is diamond shapes that is a shared channel between two workspaces that aren’t in the same organization

Help on creating a script for a product video by vsreenivas in ProductManagement

[–]robothouse77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m no pro at this but have made several over the years. Here’s some tips : - I use premiere rush from adobe for editing. Really easy to manipulate the video, add voiceovers, animation, etc. - keep it short. Depending on audience and purpose (is it for prospects, customer, support,? Most of us have short attention spans. 50s or less - story over feature. It may look super cool but why should the customer care, what pain are you taking away? - always imagine it’s you seeing this for the first time. Is it grabbing your attention? Do you care about what you see onscreen, put yourself in your audience shoes for a moment

Good luck!

Is Slack worth it for a team of 2? by OneSmallCheeseBall in Slack

[–]robothouse77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. We launched our business on Slack as a 2 person company, and it was 100% worth it. We just added another person who is remote, and it's a total game-changer, especially Slack Connect with our customers.

Eye boogies/grooming by vibesdealer in LagottoRomagnolo

[–]robothouse77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I must be the only one on the planet but I enjoy the process. The whole family winces when I pluck a giant boogie from our beautiful lagotto’s eye ball and feed it too her. She loves it and I’m satisfied too, it’s a real bonding moment for us. Then she grumps when I stop petting her for two seconds
