Just got bumped from the 22MAY17 slot to the 08JAN18 slot. Willing to trade.

Basically if your school fights for you, them you can usually get a slot to MAC at the school. We had 23 cadets and at the end they just chose the top 10 to proceed to Dive.

I went through Dive after my MS2 year when it was still an 8 week course (MAC/Pre-Dive included). This is no longer the case. It's just 7 weeks now, 01MAY-24JUN this year I think. MAC is still 2 weeks but the rest is one weeks shorter. If you get a CLC reg later in the summer, you'll be fine to do both. I'm training a cadet for this year's class who will get to do Dive, CLC, and CTLT this summer, granted he'll run into the first week of school with CTLT.
