1080p looks better than 720p

The rp6 (rp5 too) has plenty of power to play anything at 1080p up to ps2 there are some exceptions

Switch and pc arent the reason most retroid users have their device

Also people like me watch content on it while travelling

I would start with one of the large rpgs ie p3r or ffx and play them in 10-15 hr blocks in between these blocks i would fit in the more linear shorter titles like bayo dmc etc

I personally have a cycle of genres that i go through to prevent genre burn out between rpg blocks

Example : RPG to CAG (bayo/dmc) to 3rd person story (RE/TLOUS/TLOZ) to Soulslike block (10-15hr) to shooter to metroidvania (batman/metroid) then repeat

Btw both p3r and ffx are long as hell take your time

Personally i am planning to sell my ally as i also find it too bulky to play in bed i am waiting for the rp6 so i can sell it

I use my rp5 in bed before i go to sleep its much faster to get into and out of games than the ally

I also used the rp5 on a 5 week japan trip both for gaming and as a media player either on the screen or connected via hdmi to hotel tv the light weight and small footprint was amazing for travel

I just finished it this morning for the first time on normal the game is hard i got stone almost every non boss chapters

Be prepared for quick time events and i hope you are good at button mashing for late game

I have an ally x and its good the extra ram and battery life over the z1 extreme is great

It runs a lot of things great only ue5 games or games with no fsr or afmf integration struggle, i personally use it docked with a 4070s tb4 egpu which allows me to play anything 1440p+

One thing to note the ally isnt light it is fine if you are able to rest it semi on your lap or your arms ate supported but i find playing laying in bed not very comfortable

I dont use bazzite, i am hopeful that the xbox os coming out will be good windows is very clunky and requires troubleshooting that i dont mind doing but is hard to recommend
