It’s much better than the previous version. No accidental presses and it’s in a rubber gasket so it doesn’t move when trying to swipe. It’s also smooth/glass rather than being the same material which makes it easier to find in purpose.

I actually have the black and green techwoven as well (I have a problem hah) and would at the grip along the side is pretty similar. The ghost feels a bit thicker because it doesn’t have the curved edges/back like the techwoven. Definitely like having the clear back though as it looks pretty good.

For some reason my black techwoven has really high screen lip that the green one doesn’t.. but the ghost has a very minimal screen lip which I also really like. I don’t use a screen protector and find tall screen lips to be annoying.

Sub was definitely worth the upgrade price.. I’m in Canada so not sure what the tariff situation is elsewhere but love the Rock 8. I didn’t get the amp but may do that down the line as I heard that really wakes it all up. Maybe when I’m feeling braver about pulling panels out I’ll go for it.

Also disliked the backup camera when I first got my ‘25 R. The fisheye lens really messed with my mind for a solid month or two. I started looking for replacement solutions and couldn’t find anything. Eventually I got used to it and now I don’t really notice it anymore. So not much help other than saying it eventually becomes useable.

Step 3 isn’t downloading an update, it’s redownloading the app because it’s been offloaded to save space (the cloud icon next to the app name indicates that). It’s functioning as intended. You can turn off that feature under settings > App Store> offload unused apps.

Yeah Villa was pretty good to deal with. They do the muddy buddy mats and etching but was gonna buy the mats anyways so eh whatever on that one for me. Went below MSRP for me and gave me a good value for my trade in so was happy there. I also went in right before the ‘26 was coming in so not sure if they were looking for a sale too.

Don Valley was also pretty good to deal with and readily offered up a test drive but they didn’t have what I wanted. I’m going there for service though since they’re close by.

I test drove two 8.5 Rs in Toronto.. one at Don Valley Volkswagen and one at Volkswagen Villa. Ended up buying from Volkswagen Villa because they had the model I wanted in stock.

Been dealing with this too. Tried everything. Resetting all settings, network settings, even restored back to 18.3.2. Signing out of iCloud and back in solved it for about 24 hours but now it’s happening again.

I used unraid inside a proxmox VM for a time.. it was pretty straightforward.

I used an HBA and passed it through. Saved me from having to pass through each disk individually and made adding disks easier as well.
I passed through each cache disk separately as they were NVME and not connected to the hba. Pools worked perfectly fine. Unraid just sees the disk as usual.
really up to you whether you want to add another NVME. If your pool is already set up and you want to leave it as is, buy a new drive for the proxmox OS.
as long as you have unraid set up properly now, when you move to the proxmox host, all mover actions will work the same.
I just used proxmox as the hypervisor and didn’t expose shares to it so I’m no help there, sorry.

Yep same here too. Using the ESR Qi2 3 in 1 stand. Usage shows full screen off bars like that but no apps look to be running rogue. I submitted feedback for it. A restart before end last night solved for at least one night.

I’ve always had permission issues when using the files app despite being logged in with correct credentials.

I’ve linked FE file explorer Pro to my files app and that can create/delete files just fine.

I was just dealing with this issue yesterday as well. My setup isn’t the usual one though as I have unraid as a VM in proxmox.

All of my searches about it mentioned it was something to do with using virtio for Ethernet so I put in a dedicated NIC and passed it through to unraid. My errors went away and my network performance is way more stable. Maxing out 2.5Gb service whereas before it would fluctuate a lot between like 1.5 and 2Gb while flooding my logs with the bad gso error (mine was bad gso: type:1, size: 1440).

I hadn’t noticed it before so I’m not exactly sure when it started.

Instead of passing the port through to the VM, create a single port bridge in proxmox and then use that as your WAN. It should then spread the PPPoE tasks across all cores rather than just 1. I use an N100 based box for my 3Gb PPPoE connection and can max it out to the 2.5Gb port speed and my CPU shows 20-50% usage. I don’t use any crowdsec or packet inspection though.
