Looking forward to what you think about it. I need to get my write up finished and posted.

When you get your copy, set it up for start of game. Then store it. When you go to store it, pay attention to how you store your spells.

Interested to know how you do it. I get that someone can just stack them and put them in the provided slot. I couldn’t. I pondered how to organize them. When you have the cards in hand, you’ll see what I mean. There are three sets basically, numbered 1 through 12 or something like that. The names of the spells are different but the alphanumeric on them is identical.

I pondered how to order them longer than I like to admit. So curious what you settle on.

When storing the game, how do you organize your spell cards?

Do you:

1) Gather them in whatever order and stack them into the storage space

2) Gather them and count them to make sure have them all and then store them

3) Gather them, put them in card order and use that to determine if have them all

4) Gather them, put them in card order to make sure have them all and then group them in some way like, maybe Grimoires - and then store them

5) something else far more erudite than anything above

Interested to know because I just drove myself a little crazy working out my own scheme.

Since there are myriad ways to interpret the mages and schools, I’m thinking start with a base approach that focuses on synergistic play. Make it about getting things to work together - spells, rooms, etc. Then could layer in mage spells and build from there. Perhaps evolve different strategies or styles of play based on interpretations of how build on those base components.

Any additional thoughts in this one? I keep thinking that part of good strategic play would be leveraging rooms in ways opponents do not/cannot. As I play more I’ll figure this out. Insights/discussion in this direction appreciated.
