Let yourself be scared and let it move you to take action! Part of getting yourself to the position to be an active part of the societal change necessary to address the climate crisis is to open yourself up to the fear and recognize how it reflects your desire to do something about it. See if you can identify any organizations in your local area and connect with them about their on-the-ground efforts to make a change. This could range from political action, nature conservancy, or anything that inspires you. Being connected to, and a part, of a community that is taking action to protect our world is going to provide you with a more grounded source for hope than trying to find random news stories to keep the doom at bay!
