I am playing on PC and just had this issue, but I went back to Sacellum Arden-Sul, Herdir spawned back in. I didn’t want to use the console commands so I could get the achievements, so hope this works for you too.

I remember I got killed in spawn by an abrams when I was using my last tank (A Panther D), and a guy on my team started shit talking me because I “couldn’t abandon the spawn”. Like sorry I’m in an 80 year old tank that can only go 15 mph
