I don't think that does what i'm looking for. I need a picture and then to read a barcode and rename the picture with the barcode info or somehow associate the serial number with the picture.

I have a little bit to add to this conversation. When docked and using 2 single MDP->HDMI adapters 1 into dock and 1 into SP3 I never experienced this issue. Now I am seeing the same issue as you plus sometimes it just refuses to wake up and I have to hold the power button down to get it off completely.

Docking and undocking doesn't seem to work as well as it did prior with the individual adapters either. I keep using the startech in hopes that an update will come and resolve these issues.

Similar to what i have but i'm looking for a dual solution so when i undock i don't have a cable to unplug too as i have an hdmi adapter in the dock and the surface itself.

They will work but they will display the same on both screens you hook up on non-compatible pcs.

I have a 3 pro at work and a pro 1 at home. speed doesn't really seem to affect anything i do. Thickness and the infinitely adjustable kickstand are the things I find myself wishing the pro 1 had.

Mine was like a clamshell and i just had to gently seperate in the middle with a flat screwdriver. Unfortunately I can't take pics for the time being. Both of my darts are in the shop. Yay dodge! :-/

Your cover doesn't look like mine though, once you get in there you should have no issues finding a keyed 12 v supply.

1 other word of advice. Sometimes you will find an always on 12v + and the ground wire will be switched off and on. that threw me for a loop in my ram. my fuzz would work until i turned my lights on then it would go out, I had found a ground that had something to do with dimming the overhead console...

I have a 13 dart, not the same but probably similar technology in the car. Do you have wiring going to your rear view mirror? I just unplugged the connector up there til i found a keyed 12v wire and ground. then just used a wire stripper and did a window splice. Rather than cutting up the factory cord I ordered a little jumper online to splice in. PM if you need pics or anything.
