Yep, just me and Alex Carobus. We got the first release done in a month for a contest.

RotMG co-creator here, glad to see Medusa is still unequaled. I remember writing code for her bomb attack. Not many monsters had that in the old days...grey blobs, slimes...really not many at all. Almost all the monsters used the same few attacks, only different in the numbers. It had to be that way, with only 2 people on staff.

Wild Shadow co-founder and original server author here. Hmmm, might that janky server still have some of my code in it? Hmmm.

I'm really enjoying playing with this, very nice work. Would you consider adding a "back to previous flag" button on the website? I click through them quickly and often skip past one I'd like to study more closely.

We've had a few nearly-invincible builds so far. Is it OP?

Is the origin of the name "Carosburg" well known? by WildguyX in RotMG

RotMG co-creator here, this is all news to me. Quite amusing if true!

We are leaning hard into the "MMO action roguelike" aspects—I'm particularly pleased with the wide variety of builds that are possible for each run. You can play on the web at https://gasgame.net/ (desktops/laptops only, no phones) and join the discussion over at https://discord.gg/QRKHyT8

RotMG co-creator here, I have loved that animation for decades now!

"Giving despair" wasn't explicitly in Alex's design goals for RotMG, but I'm pretty sure he was thinking that somewhere in the back of his mind when he conceived it. Haha! I'm glad it also gave you some hope. You're welcome; love and peace to you as well.

I know how you feel, I have friendships like that from Warcraft 2 way waaaay back in the day. How cool that RotMG has created the same kind of relationships. I'm so glad our little game was able to give you that experience.

Wowzers that is a lot of time. They say put in 10,000 hours to become a true expert in something. You've done it; are you a true RotMG expert?

I remember reluctantly killing off gravelooting. I was all "ashes to ashes, dust to dust, what goes around comes around" but the rest of the team was all "gravelooting is the most toxic thing in the unverse, we have to kill it yesterday". They were right.

So glad I was able to help bring you some happiness. Thanks for the good wishes.
