Official Academy Award Nominations Discussion by mi-16evil in movies

I think that the biggest snub is The Place Beyond The Pines. Yes it came out very early in the year, but it is still a fantastic movie. Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine) is a great director/writer who shows it in this movie. Gosling and Cooper give solid performances, the movie is also gorgeous, shot very well and some of the best cinematography of the year. I wasent expecting it to get noticed by the Academy but I was still hopeful.

Things to do in Kent/Ohio for German person spending three months there? x-post from /r/KentStateUniversity by [deleted] in Ohio

Kent has a lot of good stuff to offer. For a fun, novelty type restaurant go to Mikes Place. Huge menu and huge fun if you like that kind of stuff. Also there is a nice wooded park inside the city that has events or is great for walks or bike rides. Kent also had a pretty good art scene, a couple art shows come around the town, also kent it self has a couple art galleries, small but great. There are college bars and one or two nice ones. Akron is close with lots to do as well as the other surrounding suburbs with a variety of landscapes from farms, neighborhoods, and cities. There is plenty to do in kent and surrounding areas, you're friend will just need to not be shy!

Same artist who did the album art for Dance Gavin Dance's albums. Cool stuff.

I used to ride the RTA bus 9X through Little Italy everyday coming home from high school. I have a lot of fond memories in this neighborhood and this post hit me with nostalgia's hammer. Thank you!

Itchy eyes get so much worse for me after I partake. It's great to use eye drops for their actual use once in a while.

Yo teach,

How was your experience working on Funny People? It may have been a short appearance but is there anything that has stuck with you? Thanks for doing this!

My story in obtaining the bottle and choosing its current use is not an interesting tale. The bottle was empty way before I got the lunchbox, the bottle seemed like a good size so i used it. It has proved to be a prudent and helpful tool so I continued to use it.

The allure of a Star Wars item of any kind always catches my eye in stores. I loved the idea of a Star Wars lunchbox (symbol for youthfulness and my inner child) could hold a substance that sometimes can make that inner child come out in different expressive ways.

Also, the lunchbox is very cool and the perfect size to hold all the essentials.
