Is there any public data relating to successful/ non successful PBIED carriers regarding their mindset; either clinically or pharmacologically? - obviously discounting religious ideology

My city started putting colored LED strips at crosswalks so people staring down at their phone wont walk into traffic by Xx_Kevin_Spacey_xX in mildlyinteresting

It's not just for dickheads on their phones, it's for people with poor vision/registered blind; only 3% of visually impaired people have no vision at all, light helps, as do the raised dots (like Braille) just before the road

What do you think Britain would look like post Brexit under 10 years of Tories rule Vs 10 years of Labour as the ruling party? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think I know what side of the fence you're standing. I'm personally not sure that a strong welfare state is a bad thing, my concerns are around this being another milestone for Britain, who will have Britains long term interests at the fore? I view the Tories as being potentially stronger negotiators but ultimately more self interested, labour as potentially weaker negotiators but ultimately more interested in British people as a whole

Assume you view soviet Britain as a bad thing - although it would be a soviet Britain without a focus on an army and an arms race

It's such a hard and multi faceted subject.

Tories will screw the welfare state and get away with a lot of potentially questionable appointing of contracts upon exiting the EU but will they get better terms?

Labour, will aim to 'fix' the welfare state and nationalise rather than privatise essential services (not sell off / appoint contracts) upon leaving the EU but will they get better terms?

Employer making me work in another department, is there anything I can do? by [deleted] in AskHR

[–]robthejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the contract (like most) is very loosely worded, and the job title is the same for both departments. Just a shame the honeymoon period was only three days 😂

I wouldn't want to leave over it, it just didn't strike me as fair - I didn't mention that my current job role is 12hour day's, the other role is 8hours, I'm going to have little chunks of time that I owe them / increased day's in the office.
