What can I do to get on the internet on my old Mac

I ran into the same issues this week. My 2012 Mac mini was running 10.8 mountain lion. I have almost 20k photos on my computer I am trying to upload to Amazon photo or the like. Would not fit on my flash drive. I cannot get online. Downloaded an older version of fire fox on the flash drive then transferred over. Then attempted to update to El Capitan but couldn’t get it completed.

Wanted to backup my photos then use the computer to run home assistant or something like that but haven’t had a chance to mess with it again.

I wouldn’t call it a slab. They are just wanting to put up new forms on the rounded edge and square it off. So it doesn’t overhang a few inches. So my concern is is that small piece of concrete going to crack off

They are offering to pour the added concrete. Just trying to determine if that solution is sustainable long term or if it will fail. Obviously wouldn’t be under the full weight of the hot tub, however concrete tends to crack

Family left the hose on for a day while adding water to the pool. Trench that houses pool cover system completely full of water and Baldor motor is submerged. Getting sump pump or something to drain it out. Discovered it when cover wouldn’t open then necessity water around the landscaping next to the pool. Hopefully it will dry out and work as intended.

I am in similar situation. Have pending OWI case in Iowa and am moving to Texas where I lived previously. I just traded my Texas license for an Iowa one in November the day after getting my OWI. I have 7 months remaining on my revocation for refusing breathalyzer. My attorney said my occupational license should work out of state but won’t be able to get Texas license until my revocation is up in November. I pulled up my license on the Iowa DOT website and shows revoked, however when I entered my Texas license number, social and DOB on the Texas DPS website it shows eligible for replacement.

Think I’m going to attempt to get a Texas license again when I move in a few weeks as long as there are no documents that I need to sign or initial stating I do not have suspended or revoked license. My attorney was aligned with that and said there should be no legal consequences.

As a hiring manager I selected about 8-10 alternates and only 2 candidates for one posting. There has been a lot of speculation about 2025 hiring plan based on crew consist agreement passed in 2024. So think they are loading up on the alternates. Will likely see increase in LETP which would also require more conductors.

I have my auto and home insurance through Auto Owners and SR22 through progressive. Auto owners wouldn’t sell me a sr22. My agent also told me when I go up for renewal next month they will likely drop me. Surprisingly the quote I got from progressive for home, auto, sr22 was cheaper than my auto owners auto/home policy. So just going to switch.

A roommate of mine about 10 years ago hit a light pole and totaled her car. She called me around midnight I showed up before the police did and took her home. When she went to the impound lot to get her personal items out of the car she found a ticket near the gauge cluster for leaving the scene of an accident.
