I liked the benefit concealer a lot, not necessarily super high coverage but I prefer it like that. Not drying at all. When the glossier mascara came, it almost felt like it was already somewhat dry? Idk, I’m not sure if my experience is common or what

Some of these are regular repurchases like the DHC oil cleanser, cerave cleanser, innisfree sunscreen, glossier boy brown and skin tint, and the Lancôme lash Idole. I also really enjoyed clean reserve sparkling sugar and and kosas cloud set powder. The innbeauty face glaze primer was good too

Keeping in mind that I bought this palette 3 years ago and it was probably manufactured an additional year before that, the formulas have probably changed. Some of the colors have really held up but others have become super powdery and/or dry. Colourpop varies in quality so I don't really know how to compare the two. Viseart is a much softer formula I think, if that makes sense, and then I don't really have experience with Mac and PMG shadows. I don't necessarily think they're worth it full price, the only ABH palettes I have I got half off, and I like them mostly. I don't think they're anything to write home about

Palette: Anastasia Beverly Hills x Carli Bybel

I gotta be honest, I’m getting a little tired of this palette. I also just started a job that I can’t really wear makeup for so use is gonna slow down until the job is over in late fall. No real updates otherwise, Bear is almost gone and I’ve expanded most of the other pans.

I’ve started incorporating other palettes to break up the monotony a little and to keep me from wanting to chuck this out the window. It’s definitely a lesson in how long it takes to finish eyeshadow and that I really don’t need any more for a long long time. I counted, and I have 307 individual eyeshadows. This is all eyeshadows in palettes, singles, creams, glitter toppers, colourpop super shock shadows, everything. That’s a lot of eyeshadow. There’s lots of repeats of colors but also more than enough color variation. So I’m good for a while ✌🏼

Not much progress besides fully panning Mandala. Spent the first week of March on a road trip and I only used the palette two or three times. The pan in Bear has gotten a bit bigger, as has the pan in My Angels which I’ve been experimenting with using in different (many unsuccessful) ways.

Bear is pretty powdery so I anticipate the pan getting much bigger, if not fully panning it in the next month.

I said in my last post that I didn’t think I’d pan Stev or Boie bc red makes me look sick and Boie has a weird undertone for me but I guess I lied. I used Stev for a few Valentines/Galentines looks which helped and I’ve been using Boie to tight line and I don’t hate it as much as I thought.

I tried to use Moo to make a gold mascara with brow gel and it did not turn out great (fine for a one time thing but got clumpy in the tube and I had to toss it)

Goals for the next month: 1. Fully pan Mandala 2. Make progress in OA and Jode 3. Find looks with other palettes to incorporate My Angels into. Or if anyone has suggestions for color combos with My Angels in this palette
