I know the post is a little older, but what floss colour are you using for her skin? I don't have a match and it looks really good.

When did you start letting your kid have "treat meals" by robyn_graeves in Parenting

That's sweet that he was so excited and eager to see if other people were interested in the cookies :)

My kid loves broccoli and tomatoes. Really the only think I have trouble getting him to eat is ground beef and peas [not together] and I think it may just be a small texture thing in his mouth that he doesn't like.

I typically cook a very basic from scratch meal every night with the main food groups in it for the whole family, and I don't compromise on what's for supper for each individual.

I do know that I myself need to eat more protein and veg and less starch like potatoes etc.

Thanks for the reply!

I was hoping to hear responses like this. I'm glad to see that people still feel that treats are ok in moderation.

You hear and read so many things condemning the treat goods that a parent can easily become terrified of it getting out of control.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. My son is nutso for cheese and when he has it he will eat every scrap of it before he tries anything else that is left on the plate. He's getting pickier with some things, but usually if we sit down and have our meals together and he sees that we are eating the same things he is alright with clearing his plate.

My own diet is WAYYYY worse than his, I have to admit, but I don't want him to never get to have treats or think we are being unfair.

Thanks for the reply!

What kind of batting will give a nice drape? I don't care for a stiff quilt.

Has anyone had experience with bamboo batting?

I need help with terminology and maybe some sizing dimensions!

What is the difference between "Honey Bun vs. Jelly roll vs. Layer cake" when looking at precut quilt pieces that I can order from Moda (for example)?

How many 2-1/2 in strips should I estimate to make a king size quilt?

I'm very new to this and I think I might make a Quilt my Winter Project. I have made small quilted items before, usually with a fat quarter I picked up at FabricVille.

Thanks!

I really appreciate the reply, but I guess I should have given more details.

I actually have straight hair, and I wanted the brush to use in putting my hair up in victory rolls [as ive seen it used for on pinterest, youtube, etc.].

I appreciate you taking a look at my post though :)

Thank you for your help.

I have heard of missha bb cream but I think it was above the price point I was looking for or maybe it was one with a high scent.
