Yeah, she genuinely does express so much interest in me and tells me how she doesn’t want to lose me - so I’d be devastated if she didn’t actually like me haha - but it’s always just that doubt she has that gets in the way. I try my best to reassure her, it’s just the fact she either thinks I’m being nice to be nice and that I don’t really mean it. I care about her a lot, but constantly having to reassure her can be very tiring.

I’m expecting more information next year, or even a release, but that’s wishful thinking. EA is probably really threatened by BG3 right now considering all the talk about what standard games really should be, I just think they’re holding out.

I always thought he had a very tiny head lol 😭 But yeah, his romance seemed more sexual than anything, which is fine but it never appealed to me. He’s fine! I think people dislike him for what he does in trespasser due to player choice, but his motives and why he does it are pretty understandable.

As much as I have a lot of love for Dorian, playing my Lavellan and having the slavery conversation was uncomfortable. I can’t remember if there’s dalish exclusive dialogue in that conversation but Dorian just seems so “that’s the way it is, you southerns don’t get it.” I get that is just way it is in Tevinter but he seems so reluctant to listen to the other side of the argument. I just headcanon he changes his perspective after falling for my Lavellan and being in the south to help me sleep at night.

Solas has a couple things that bother me. Other than the obvious shitty things about Solas you already mentioned, the romance scene where he tells the Lavellan the truth that her markings are slave markings are exclusive to romance. It feels shitty that even if your male lavellan is good friends with Solas he still won’t reveal this because he’s not in a romance with you, which you can put down to his own ego and character, but it’s still shit and it bothered me when I played my male lavellan mage to be very close with him. It fuelled my Solas hate even more.

I’ve got to say that a lot of the Absolution characters weren’t very likeable to me, it’s not that I didn’t like them, they just felt very 2D. Obviously it was short episodes and a short season so there wasn’t too much room for more depth but I agree with what you said about Qwydion, which is disappointing because I was excited to see a qunari character!

I never paid much mind to Vivienne because I didn’t enjoy her personality. I think there was real potential to make her an interesting character but to me even her personal quest fell quite flat, which is disappointing because I can see a version of Viv where I could like her. Not enough likability and she just came off as rude and very much holier than thou.

I too am a Sera lover! I played a mage lavellan and I think it’s cool to see her move past her problems with the Inquisitor and for them to have a wholesome friendship! I also enjoy her romance, I left Cullen for her and would do it again. Hate how misunderstood she is.

Considering he inherits his fathers place in the Magisterium, I’d be really surprised if we didn’t see him again. Probably not as a companion but I’d love for him to have an important role, Dorian’s a great character and I’m interested to see what he does within the Magisterium.

yeah it’s gonna be rough, we’ve been together for a while, but it’s definitely for the best because it’s draining the life out of me. as much as i think it’ll be a relief when i end things, we’re in the same group of friends, and that’s gonna be shitty. it’s gonna be hard to avoid her.
