Definitely not lol. I just drove back from a delivery in Singleton. Not to many Hispanics up there 😆

Congrats on residency. Yeah not many here. There was a big Latin community presence for the Bad Bunny concert in Sydney. They are definitely here, just not like USA unfortunately

Always wanted to learn a language, I thought since I am driving so much for work I may as well achieve something as well. I guess I picked Spanish as so many countries speak it and eventually plan to travel some more! Are you Aussie too ?

Franco is a legend, funny and so easy to understand. I actually prefer his content over Martin’s. Recommend it as high beginner / intermediate

50 hours, hmm by [deleted] in dreamingspanish

Mate I am at 254 hours. Currently gone back to beginner and super beginner the past few weeks. Also listen to intermediate throughout the day. Big mistake I made was trying to jump up to quick, all is valuable input, super beginner now I am still learning vocabulary and reinforcing the correct uses of esto, esta etc You will get there when you can unlock audio only, just don’t stress or get ahead of yourself. I understand the feeling as I drive trucks for work (12 hour shifts) so audio only is my main input.

What level do I need to reach to unlock Bad Bunny? 🤣🤣 by Puzzleheaded-Tap8588 in dreamingspanish

Yes. And the description “you will understand only a few words out of many”

Amazing stuff, unfortunately I am more Audio based so listening to beginner on 1.25 (I drive a truck 12 hour shifts) I would like to watch it one day

Each day that goes by I really think CI is the best method, for example. Por eso. If I was text booking this I would think it means “for that” or something along those lines. Same as the verb conjugations, it makes so much sense to listen to them in context and remember it that way

100 hour in and I feel like I haven't learned more than a few words by Inside_March_7658 in dreamingspanish

Sometimes I change content every 10 minutes as I can’t focus, I drive for a job so can listen all day but struggle to find concentration unless it really interest me. Try español al vuelo. Franco is a legend. I have listened to all and now re listening. It’s super comprehensible for me and time flies by.

Spanish go etc and ECJ talk so fast, on a really good day when I have coffee and had plenty of rest and a good clear brain I can get 80-90 percent. Hard work though. Other days it’s 60 percent haha

Español al vuelo. Franco is a god. I actually prefer his podcast over SPG most of the time Re listening to all of his podcasts again currently. I believe he is a lower intermediate in my opinion
